On The Move has a partnership with Journey Home. Can you tell us a little bit about that?
Yes, what we’re doing right now with On the Move and Journey Home is working to give back to our community.
The Journey Home is a non-profit here in Rutherford County, TN that helps people that have been down on their luck. They have maybe had some life changes, whether it’s through unemployment or a fire or another reason. So now they’re trying to get back on their feet.
Basically, we work with them to gather up mattresses and some things that people would need immediately once they get a place to move to. We’re trying to store those and distribute those out as they’re needed. We may get into more than just mattresses at some point, maybe a little bit of furniture or something like that. But at this point, we’re just trying to take it one step at a time and get mattresses done. I think it’ll be a nice partnership with Jim over at Journey Home. We want to help get people set up in their place to stay once they get on their feet and can get their life back together.
